Contact Centre Sales and Service Advisor

Department: Contact Centre
Reports To: Contact Centre Supervisor
Job Reference: CCA
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Hours Available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Salary: £15,000 p.a. (pro rata) plus bonus and benefits

The Role

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to sell insurance policies and ancillary products.
  • Maintain customer accounts by processing policy amendments, documents requests and renewal requests.
  • Provide a first class customer experience on every call
  • Adhere to call scripts and processes to remain industry compliant
  • Achievement of daily/weekly/monthly sales and service targets
  • Ensure attention to detail is maintained to achieve 100% accuracy
  • Prioritise workloads to allow for ownership of completed customer journey’s
  • Undertake general administrative duties

The Person

  • Experience of working to targets and deadlines
  • Good keyboard skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Target driven
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • A background in the Insurance industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • FSA experience would be beneficial

Salary: Up to £14,500 p.a. plus bonus and benefits

The Role

  • Operate within authority limits and meet all FSA compliance requirements.
  • To actively partake in regular one to ones with line manager discussing your own progress and development needs.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and contractors when necessary.
  • Maintain and issue stationery stock items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Operations Manager
  • Scan and index incoming customer post / email
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Prepare and fulfil outgoing customer post
  • Collect and frank all mail from each department within the organisation
  • Ensure the correct documentation is sent to our customers and resolve where this is incorrect.
  • Additional administration tasks as and when required.

The Person

  • Attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
  • Positive approach to team work but able to work alone when required.
  • Able to work well under pressure and keep to deadlines.
  • Able to deal diplomatically with people at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills (internal and external).
  • The personal appetite to develop coupled with the willingness to attend courses which will support the learning.
